veggie oil and kombucha...

ok im on my second batch of kombucha and the first turnedout perfect

(as far as a i know ) but this second one i went to pour in the

cooled tea and i noticed oil spots everwhere...my wife had made

popcorn in it last week and its been used for other things (recently

for pasta but its cleaned out thoughroughly and regularly..im sre

some of the veggie oil was left behind and mixed in with the black

tea..ive already filled my glass jar with the culture about an hour

ago..should i take out the scoby now or will it be ok?
