I've already got a batch set aside for making the bacteria super race per the Balancing act website. It's been 6 days with no additional scoby forming, that I can tell. We heat with wood so temperatures have been 64*-78*. My question is, what to do with this batch? If I let it sit will the yeast eventually die off and I will have good starter bacteria?
