Guest guest Posted November 21, 2008 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 I finally found someone who can share with me and I am getting a scoby AND milk kefir starter on Saturday and am very worried that I'll kill them. How long is it before they start doing something that I'll need to begin " playing " with them? I mean I have directions for what to do once they arrive but from then on, from what I've read, I believe the kefir will start something in 24 hours and the scoby will maybe be ready for something to be done in 2 weeks.
