KT herbicide (OT?)

Had some nice container veggies and raised beds for veggies this year.

A qualified weed, Lambs Quarters, a bane to farmers, still is one of

the best quality greens to eat. We harvested what was growing wild,

and had a large pot full of them on the porch.

Zoe had a bit of KT that was overmature, and added a bit to the pot.

Very hard weed to kill? Was toast overnight!

I think as a spray, it would be great for preparing weedy gardens or

plant beds prior to planting, poisen ivy and such, it would be

organic and great. A touch of lime or bakeing soda solution would

then cancel the acidic affects.

I have never seen a commercial herbicide work so fast ans so total.

Root and all, absolutely no regrowth.

Going to give a bigger trial this spring. Prespray on emerging weeds,

prior to planting, and a sponge application to leaves of weeds after

planting.

Will let you know how it works.

I don't suppose there's a photo handy, we have a " Lamb's lettuce " small

dark green annual often added to salads.

*Belay that last pipe, *

just Googled " Lamb's quarters " and found several picture of " Fat Hen "
