Stringy web-like suspension

I am on day nine of my second batch of kombucha. There are four onr

gallon brews. In two of them, there is a weblike suspension of stringy

stuff all throughout the brew. It is not brown blobs hanging from the

baby. I knocked the baby in accidentally and the stuff is suspended in

the brew above the sunken baby as much as under it. It looks like very

thin wisps of slime-tails but they are just kind of magically hanging

uniformly throughout. There is not a cubic inch of liquid without

these strings in it. Is this normal?
