Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have not been on the site in a while. I wont even bore you with the details. But a short version is I gave a scoby to a friend and she used Earl grey tea. I managed to get my scoby all moldy one day when I had a momentary lapse of brain function. Well anyway I got a scoby from my friend and the tea is just not coming out the same. After two weeks and sometimes 2 1/2 weeks the tea is still sweet and doesn't have that tingle in the throat kick. Is this scoby damaged in some way. I am thinking maybe I should just get a new one. My house is warm. usually around 75 degrees. Any info would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has a scoby to offer I would be happy to pay the shipping. I'm thinking I will maybe try making a batch with a new scoby and the old one and put them side by side and see what happens. Thanks, nne in New jersey
