Guest guest Posted December 28, 2008 Report Share Posted December 28, 2008 Hi everyone! This is day 9 of my first brew.. is this long enough?? Also I'm wondering if you all use ph strips to test it? I see where some people are putting it in bottles.. is this more desirable then a jar? I'm wondering if I let the new scoby ride? Or should I keep it and discard the old one? Anyway I can know for sure it's safe? I don't see anything unusual growing but it's in a position where I can't see really good unless I move it.
