Guest guest
OK, I just bottled my second-ever batch of KT. I didn't make it to the brewery supply to get those special bottles that I mentioned in my intro post, so I am reusing two GT bottles, and some plastic bottles. I got some ginger and white grape juice at the store today, so I experimented. I have one bottle plain, two bottles with different amount of white grape juice, one bottle with a tiny slice of ginger, and another bottle with a slice of ginger and about 1/8 tsp of honey. Mm, I can't wait to taste these! I have another question. I was filling the bottles straight from my brewing container (I use a funnel). As I got to the last few bottles, I realized that the KT at the bottom of the container was significantly murkier than the stuff on the top. So, should I stir the KT or perhaps pour it into another container before bottling it so that all the layers get mixed up? I'd hate to have one really sour and/or carbonated bottle while all the others are weak and flat. By the way, this is completely fun!
