Guest guest
Hi everyone, This may seem like a strange question, but here goes. Has anyone's child experienced problems with potty training/staying dry? My daughter is four, diagnosed with apraxia at 2 1/2 years. Was not potty trained until a few days before her third birthday, although if I let her run around with nothing on she always used the potty before then. She had her adenoids removed in June and since about that time has had accidents, sometimes on a daily basis more than once. I know that four year olds tend to wait to long, are involved in what they are doing, etc. and do have accidents, but she sometimes will have 3-5 a day! Before the surgery she didn't have this problem. I also know that urinating involves muscles and motor planning, could there be something wrong? It just doesn't feel right. Her pedirician has checked for diabetes, UTI, etc. and nothing has come of the tests. If you have had similar probelms please let me know. Is it normal??? or should I bring her to another doctor??? Thank you!!! Sincerely, , mom of Cain 7 and Gwen 4 Find the best deals on the web at AltaVista Shopping! http://www.shopping.altavista.com
