Guest guest
Yes, that's called "dry eye," and you need to go to a good ophthalmologist and get something to put in them. I have something like a gel, but I hate using it because it's, well, it's a *gel.* But it does work. The danger is that you will abrade your cornea(don't worry, you'll *know* if you do) and in the long run that can do permanent damage. ----- Original Message ----- From: Deb Laliberte Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2003 8:05 PM Subject: Stickey Dry Eyes Does anyone else wake up in the morning with eyes feeling like they are glued together, yet dry. My opthmologist said that people with RA tend to have concentrated fluids in the morning. I have tried liquid tears without the stuff to get the red out as he suggested, but it doesn't seem to help much. Anyone have any suggestions?
