Guest guest
I know this subject has been covered before by other posts, but I can't seem to find if anyone reached a conclusion as to whether ProEFA was causing sleeplessness. We only started our son on (2 years old) 5 days ago but my once great sleeper turned into a terror over the weekend. He trys to fall asleep but can't seem to do it. I had to take him for a car ride to get him to nap (which I've never had to do) and last night he didn't fall asleep until 2 hours past his regular bedtime. Needless to say, he wasn't a happy child this morning. We are seeing more babbling and more use of his tongue (ie sticking it out) so I don't want to stop the dosage (he gets it in the morning). But I'm looking for suggestions as to switching brands or whether I should just wait it out - if the sleeplessness will go away by itself. Guest guest
Try the EFA's in the AM so they will not affect his sleep. I have not heard that is can cause sleeplessness but I think every child reacts differently. The EFA's don't cause any harm to your child so if he is babbling more you should certainly continue using them. You could consider a smaller dose for now until his body adjusts. Half a pill or one every other day and then you can increase if you need to. Good luck. Janet
Guest guest
What time are you giving the ProEFA? We found that giving it before bedtime caused sleeplessness. We only give it early in the morning and we no longer have a problem stacey [ ] ProEfa and sleep I know this subject has been covered before by other posts, but I can't seem to find if anyone reached a conclusion as to whether ProEFA was causing sleeplessness.
