Guest guest
It looks like higher gas prices will be around for a while. Here are a few things that will help you save money at the pump. Keep Your Engine Properly TunedFuel Economy Benefit: 4% ---> Equivalent Gasoline Savings: $0.12/gallon Oxygen sensors can greatly affect mileage. Replacing a bad sensor can improve mileage by up to 40%. Check & Replace Air Filters RegularlyFuel Economy Benefit: up to 10% --->Equivalent Gasoline Savings: up to $0.29/gallon This is one of the easiest and most cost effective things you can do to increase your fuel economy. Drive Sensibly Fuel Economy Benefit: 7-23% --->Equivalent Gasoline Savings: $0.20-$0.67/gallon I know we always obey the posted speed limits and never have a lead foot at a stoplight...but... this is good info to share with your friends. Shop OnlineIf you can buy it online...like auto parts from RockAuto...do so. Why drive to the store and deal with out of stock items, salesperson pressure, and higher prices? You can easily buy the things you need online in the comfort of your own home. Note: Cost savings are based on an assumed fuel price of $2.91/gallon.
