Guest guest
Hello, I am trying to put together a fun event for the group. Rather than having a meeting in June. I thought it would be great to have a picnic. I have tentatively booked Mermaid Swim and Golf Club which is at the site of Mermaid Country Day Camp in Bluebell. The facility is fabulous when my son saw it he said you could fit a whale in their pool. Anyway I want to try to get as many members together as possible. The cost is at least $10.00 per head except for infants. The Pavillion grounds include swimming facilities including water slides, game room, softball, horseshoes, tennis, basketball, and playground facilities. If enough of you are inetersted I'd like to get a food commitee together to tackle a menu that would work and not be too expensive we'll all chip in and be the cooks. However they do have novelity carts for things like funnel cakes, popcorn, cotton candy, sno cones, and soft pretzels. i would like to invite all presenters who gave their so freely to come and talk to us at our meetings on us. I know Dr.Lori thought it was a grest idea and said she'd love to come. Ther is also all kinds of entertainment avilable if te group is interseted bt of course that raises the prices as well. Please get back to me with yor thought and ideas on the picnic. The sooner everyone gets back to me the sooner I can slodify the arrangements. Thank you Mauri Blefeld
