Guest guest
My son has hypotonia and he's 8. I've never heard of Central Hypotonia,, either. Curious to hear if you get a better explanation.
Guest guest
Hi , I am wondering if your SLP is referring to global dyspraxia or limb apraxia which would make the limbs tired and make a child get physically easier. My son has signs of global dyspraxia which has improved with OT 3X a week and PT 1x. He does tire easier but I did find since he has been on EFAs he is more alert and physically able to do more. Probably a question for a developmental pediatrician. > My s/t believes there is a specific > " central hypotonia " diagnosis which differs from just " hypotonia " , that could > be the core of my son's issues and would be compelling to a Child Study Team. > Anybody out there that can explain this? Thanks. > (confused mom of Aidan with variety of issues in Bergen County)
