Guest guest
Kat Sorry I Am Still Trying To Digest The Overload Of Info. I Can Say For A Fact, That I Will Be Having My First Mri Soon. The Dr Has So Many Things Going On For Me Its Hard To Recall Them All. Dr Is Talking About RA. But Wants Many Levels Of Testing To Eval. Plus He Wants An MRI Of My Knee My Head My Back My Hips.. Then He Said Ok A Full Body MRI. He Is Also Sending Me To An Ear Nose N Throat Dr. To Eval The Tinnitus. A Neuroligist(sp) To Eval The Headaches. And Several Other Things. As For Mitch, He Has To Cut His Beta Blockers In Half To Try To Allow His Heart To Get Up To Speed. Dam Pharmacy Didn't Have My Meds Ready So I'm Still Without My Prozac As Well As Other Meds. This Is Day 6 I Think Off My Meds. I'm Not Functioning Too Well. But Am Breathing. Haaa! Take Care And Have A Good Weekend. Guest guest
Hi D, Enjoy the MRI. I liken it to being dumped head first into an old metal garbage can & having two big guys with 2 by 4s beat on the outside. I hope you're not claustrophobic, it gets just a little close in there. I once had a veterinarian suggest I take my cat(he was 19 at the time) to Winnepeg for a MRI. Sure - drive 9 hours to get there, pay $700 just for the MRI plus all the ancillary expenses - gas, food, hotel - just to find out the cat had old cat vestibularites - I don't think so. Aren't all these tests fun. Last time I went for blood tests I swear they took half my blood ( after they found a vein which is not guaranteed with me) Oh well, the life of a guinea pig. SuZie Next time I'm coming back as a cat Re: HEY D Kat Sorry I Am Still Trying To Digest The Overload Of Info. I Can Say For A Fact, That I Will Be Having My First Mri Soon. Guest guest
Damn not a word yet about hep. Guest guest
Nope Not A Single Word About Hep. My Hep Dr As Well As My Primary Both Agree That Losing Weight Is The Best Course Of Action At This Point. I Am A 2 Time Non Responder. The Current Tx Is Adjusted According To Weight. My Weight Is Off The Charts And Beyond Levels Of Safe Tx. Since Tx Available Is Same As When I Was On It Before It Is Best I Lose Weight Before Attempting Tx Again To Allow A Better Chance Of Svr. My Current Vl Is 2.9 Million. My Lab Work That The Crazy People Actually Done Was Good. They Didn't Do All Of Them Last Time So Dr Requested Them Again. This May Not Be The Best Course For Everyone But Here And Now It Is The Best Course For Me. My VL Is Being Watched But My Weight Is Causing More Pressing Issues. We Are Careful Of My Meds. I Am Careful Of My Diet. I Take My Lactoluse. I Can't Hardly Walk Because Of The Damage To My Back And Hips And Knees From My Weight. I Am Doing What I Can To Save Me Before It Is Too Late. Guest guest
Hi Ya Ms. D our Welcome Back Lady Honey I and others know exactly what you are talking about and yes morbid obesity will kill a person and you in time. But we got ya thinking taking steps and talking about your health didn't we. Many people are not candidates for tx meds and have many other serious health problems and issues especially in late stages of HCV and body wide with it all a contributing factor to our health. Knowing your VL now is a mute point especially knowing tx is not an option for you. Your VL tells you yep it's there and still going strong but many of us have lived with very high VL's and it's not a good indicator of what's really going on the stage of your liver and many other medical things going on with you related to HCV other dx's and you know being obese is also taxing your liver and other systems. Did they run full labs and liver profile labs and scheduled on a regular bases ???? Full labs will give you an idea how well your liver - kidneys - and other systems are functioning if you do want to know it all. Toots let us know your lab and testing results. We are here for you. Get that weight off every single pound does help you and than you start to shed more pounds more easily being non-ambulatory and not getting around very well is a big factor now too. Weight loss for everyone boils down to burning off more calories that went in and by eating the right foods for the person and their health. Nope I don't want to hear any excuses for you or anyone else because we don't want to lose you woman or any member !!!!!!! Love and Hugs.
