Guest guest
Hi Ya My PTP Buddy Yep and it sucks big time after all you have been through. I got highly pissed off too cussed up a storm shed a few tears than realized hey I feel better now. But you know in your heart you went above and beyond gave it your best shot and many times and You did not fail You the tx meds failed You. You were a very courageous man to try tx again being ptp than fight for the chance to try it a 2nd time even after having a stroke on the meds the 1st time. You should be very very proud of you. I am and so are many many other people and your friends here in group. That is the past now it's time for You and Janet to enjoy and just carry on. Hope you didn't kick the dog and missed the stud in the wall. I've been meaning to tell you I saw your granddaughters new photos in group and they are beautiful and growing up fast. Give Janet a big hug and kiss from me and you get to enjoy it too. Love Y'all. Deb

Guest guest
We know what you are going through, My Hubby Rich relapsed too and is now going back on treatment again, but this time it is different, he is on infergon and rivoflavorn, or how ever you spell it, one shot a day, and they don't start the 48 week count till his viral load is down to 0, he's been on it now for 6 weeks and just got his last viral load count, he started again at 350,000 and its now down to 375 he is happy so far but is worried that he will relapse again, its a bumpy and hellish ride, he is having a lot more symptoms this time around, last time is was a breeze for him, this time he is getting almost all the symptoms and is hating it, and wishs it would go faster our prayers are with you on what ever you decide to do Bonnie & Rich

Guest guest
Thanks Bonniy and Rich, I am still thinking about what to do, I haven't found out what all my options might be. That is a great drop at 6 weeks. I wish you the best. Guest guest
Hi Michail, I went to the doctor today and he put me on Sulfatrim to take twice a day and I go to the lab tomorrow for a urine test and an MRI is being scheduled for my kidneys.I worry about the number of times I have kidney problems the past three years.I worry about damage. He is putting me on another drug for the fibromialgia. It is used for parkinsons and restless leg syndrome that they are finding that it helps with fibromialgia. It will help with my memory too.I have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up and we will try it for a month to see if it helps with all my symptoms. Guest guest
Hi Gail, I think the Sulfatrim is an antibiotic, find out what the other drug is. The MRI is a good idea, must be a reason for so many kidney infections. Fibromialgia can be a catch all diagnosis and I am not a big believer, I must be honest. I hope they are treating your symptoms though, that's most important. Guest guest
Requip 0.25mg is the second drug.It is used for restless leg syndrom but lately they find that the drug also helps with Fibromialgia.I take one tablet for 7 days, then 2 for 7 days then 4 for 7 days and if it works it should take care of the restless leg and possibly some of the problems associated with fibro.I have on my computer any new info to do with fibro it is sent to me and there are two drugs that help with it,but the one being used right now in the US is not in Canada yet,but they have found good results with requip also.I don't want to take 10 meds for 10 different problems if they can be controlled with one drug that helps most of my medical problems. Guest guest
Hi, Requip is a great drug for restless leg syndrome, I've never used it but Janet says they use it a lot at the clinic she works at and it is a huge practice. Good luck, hope it helps. Re: what a revolting development HEY MICHAEL SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR RELAPS BUT KNOWING YOU THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER SO WHAT KIND OF NEW TAT ARE YOU GETING.
