Cancellations: Paid registrations will be refunded, less $25.00 administrative fees, if the request is received by May 17, 2002 Course Objectives: • to define motor speech disorders in children as a group of speech production problems, including dysarthria and multiple forms of apraxia. • to identify clinical characteristics of motor speech disorders in children • to select and employ appropriate assessment and intervention procedures in cases of motor speech disorders of childhood. Course Level: Intermediate. All parents attending the workshop are welcome to attend and informally talk with Dr. Crary. Attendance at this workshop qualifies for ASHA CEU's. The Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) to offer continuing education activities in speech-language and audiology.
