Guest guest
Has the speech therapist tried to teach the signs for " me " (both hands tapping her chest), and " more " (folded hands together). Both are relatively easy to do and decrease frustration. It took a lot of time and patience for my daughter to start using these signs, but once she got it there was much less screaming. Hang in there - I know its not easy! Barbara
Guest guest
, I really appreciate you sharing about your son. I had a breaking point a few days ago and I did not give her anything but water with juice. She had no problem with her reflux and she did eat a few " good " times. I definitely think there is something to drinking milk....being allergic make sense. (I hate milk but I think it goes back to being forced to drink it at school lunch and it was always warm. Yuck.) She can go through a gallon of milk in a few days and hardly eat anything. The past few milk free days she has been more active and chatty too. Now if I can get her to eat, I hope that she will be able to tell me (in any way) that she is hungry. Come to think of it, she would get her milk and then not want to eat almost all the time. Thanks for sharing and I will keep you posted. Just curious, what sippy cup did take to?
