Guest guest
I responded to this survey off-list earlier, but after seeing all the other responses and the similarities, I thought I'd chime in, too. My activity level was normal, but I also didn't feel my daughter moving that much. In fact the last 5 or 6 weeks I went in to the hospital every week and was hooked up to the fetal monitor to make sure there was movement. I also had a C-section. I started labor around 7 or 8 one Tuesday evening (it wasn't overwhelming, but like really bad menstrual cramps), had no sleep and was progressing, but finally had an epidural around 11 the next am. Then I couldn't feel to push, but tried from 1 until 4. She just wasn't coming, so the Dr. advised the c-section. They had to put me out because the new dose of the epidural didn't take. They got her out quickly, but the Dr told my husband the chord was around her back. There was never a sign on the monitor that she was in distress, but, of course, now I wonder.
