C al sounds much like my oldest boy at his age. Drinking, partying until all hours, and finally common a common thief... I can't stand people who lie and steal!!!!!!!!! He was out on his own at 18 because I couldn't tolerate or control his actions.

The dumb sh_t was in and out of jail for several years, using those big baby blues and charming lies to get 'another chance' out of the system. He finally ended up in prison for 5 years and was released last summer.

He lives in southern Idaho and is talking all the right talk now. I hope he has learned his lesson, but I still wont lift a finger to help him. Once bitten wouldn't even cover it for me... took me several bites before I washed my hands of him. Well.. not really as I do love him and speak with him often. I just won't ever cover for him or lend a hand... making his own grave, or not. His choice.

I certainly hope Cal figures things out before he goes the same route.

You would think Cale would have learned something by now.He seems to want to be in jail with him breaking probation all the time.I hope he grows up soon for your sake.

Beth is busy as can be – school, work, church. She’s a youth leader again this year and is now singing in the band on Sunday nights. I haven’t heard her yet because she only just told me about it and says she’d feel weird if I was there. So I’m trying to respect that. One of her classes is World Religions which has to meet off campus, but she gets credit for it.

I’m still a little down about adding to my list of ailments, but it could be because of Cale’s situation, too. He’s been here since Wed. because the mother was gone where he usually stays and she’s the peace keeper. Sunday night he stayed out all night. I was pissed. Can’t stay out all night & get out job hunting at a reasonable hour. Plus he was drunk, and you know what a good idea underage public drinking is when you’re on probation. Geez!
