I would definitely have her evaluated privately, this will be a useful tool

for the IEP. I also strongly believe in having credentials of the people

that will do the speech and OT. Always remember it is a LEGAL DOCUMENT.

Have you ever had an OT evaluation done? That can be very helpful as well.

I would definetly have the speech evaluation done again before the IEP and

bring it with you. OT compliments the speech therapy in many instances.

Also do not feel you have to settle for a person less qualified, if they

don't have all of the credentials as a speech language pathologist tell them

thats what is " appropriate " for your child.
