Guest guest
Hi Audrey: My daughter Jodi is on the transplant list and they said even though you have a new liver you still have the AIH which caused the problem in the first place. They don't know how long it took her liver to get in this shape to start with so there is no way of telling. I sure hope they find out a lot more about AIH in the near future. Take care and God bless, Genny/Jodi's Mom/FL
Guest guest
Audrey: Unless I am mistaken, a non-certified SLP is not acceptable for any language inpaired child. You have the right to request a certified SLP. Request this in writing, and do not settle for less. Do you have a private SLP? If so, ask that the school system pay directly to her. Guest guest
If she were my child (and my child is a systemic jra child on mtx) I would call the ped and the rheumy tomorrow and ask them what you should do. They might advise you to bring her in for Tamiflu. Two of my children have had the flu this week. Swine flu? I don't know. They didn't go in. One of my children is a fairly bad asthmatic and she got thru it fine. Both times it was a mild flu. n, my systemic, has not been sick. But she knows if she gets a fever that she better go to the clinic and get it checked out.
