Hi to all,

Just a note to say we have gotten into the pre-school near our home. We were

given a full subsidy and only have to pay 2.00 a day for both

boys....Halleluyah!!!!!! Tomorrow we are testin gthe waters so to speak and

will atend the pre-school for 1 1/2 hours in the morning. The purpose being

to get the boys familiar with the place before dropping them off for an

entire day!!!! The boys have limited understanding with Aidan being further

behind at about a 6-9 month old level....so we don't want to terrify him!!!!

I will be taking the boys in the morning and when time presents itself

quietly exiting the classroom......I have to see how they will react!!! They

won't start full time for a month...hopefully by that time we will have

accomplished spme level of trust and comfort......I hope...keep all fingers

crossed for me! We have been waiting for this for a while....but NOW seems

right in terms of their needs! They need more than I can give them alone in

the day......The constant talking and kids to play with and one on one

attention will hopefully do them a great deal of good!! They will only be

going to pre-school 2 days a week ( Mondays and Wednesdays ) and will have a

specialized teacher in class to help with their special needs...ie. we ar4e

still in diapers and drinking bottle ( milk only). The school was great

about these things...they said if I supply the bottle, milk and diapers they

have no problem with it...Thank Goodness! We are hoping the new enviornment

will also help them to see other children going potty, and drinking from

cups, and that other kids think different foods are FUN!!!!! Wish us luck in

this new endeavor.....

Hugs,

,

Mom to Aidan & Devlin, 28 weekers, now 2 years, IUGR (resolved), TTTS, Apnea

(resolved), Bradycardia (resolved), ROP (resolved), pulmonary Stenosis,

Atrial Septal Defects, intrahepatic portal shunt (liver now resolved),

delayed in every area ( global delays), speech delays...now looking into

apraxia......and taking EFA's (ProEfa- Nordic Naturals)

But HAPPY, BEAUTIFUL baby boys.....a constant inspiration and source of joy

to their parents.
