Thank you all for your kind words, prayers and keeping us in your

thoughts!!!! It really meant a lot to me to read your notes.....of course I

wish that my sons were not apraxic, but I would never have gotten involved

with this wonderful group of people and became close friends with many of

you!! So if there is a reason for everything than I guess I " get " this one!

The 4 boys are doing ok I think...I am getting the kids into some sort of art

therapy because of the lack of speech...although they do talk, the

professional would not understand most of it I'm sure....I was not going to

bring any of them to the (closed) viewing. They are 8 and 6 and the twins 4

on Monday...but the guidance counselor at the school, the priest and funeral

director more or less felt that that is the thing to do...for closure

according to research and when they were all giving me that advice I can

honestly say that I was getting angrier and angrier and how do they know what

my kids need, etc. (You know the mother bear feelings started coming

out)....but, honestly they were right and I guess I was trying to protect

them when in fact I would have probably done more damage than good.....they

also needed that closure and the unknown is more frightening than the

known....and in years they cannot say that they wanted to go, etc....so I

must admit that the professionals were right this time....my boys did not

even ask to go to the 7-9 viewing and we had a big pizza party with the

soccer coach and his family being the babysitters when I was not here...so

again, thank you !!!!! I wish you all lived on my street and that we could

all get together for a cup of coffee (or maybe something stronger) while all

the kids swam in the pool.....I know we have another long road ahead , but

with you all out there I know I can get through this!!!!!!!! Kathy
