As I understand the auditory processing therapy it is not just for kids who need to be desensitized, right? For instance, my 4 year old daughter who does have a great private ot, does not need to be desensitized. She has no aversions or sensitivities to sound, touch, taste, etc. She is a sensory seeker who loves to feel and play with things of different textures and loves ot type play and has sensory dysfunction.
