HI Tawny:

Was it the shot that was weird? Or are talking about other symptoms you've been experiencing since you've done the shot? If you've never self-injected before, it's kind of weird, but you will get used to it. I think I mentioned in an earlier post that I find the Humira stings when injected. The needles for the Enbrel are bigger, but the solution itself didn't sting like the Humira. On the other hand, the Humira needles are so thin I almost don't feel it.

Hang in there. It will get easier, I promise. Are you also on Methotrexate?

I have been taking Humira for several months now. I don't notice any side effects at all except that hurts when I inject it. That stops after a couple of minutes. I had been on Kineret and Enbrel before that and Humira seems to work the best for me. Good luck.

You know, I bruised much worse with Enbrel. I actually stopped the Enbrel back in March and I still have bruises. I don't bruise at all from Humira unless I accidentally draw blood. But I don't care and wear shorts anyway.
