Guest guest
Yes Mark, my daughter MiKayla is nearly 5 years old now and still eats messier than an infant. We've had a swallow study done on her and she definitely has issues with swallowing and chewing which are directly related to her SID and her dyspraxia issues. We've had therapy to help her from a speech language pathologist up at the Children's hospital and it has really helped her. She rarely chokes now thankfully. Tammy >Hello, My child is apraxic, visually impaired and SID. Do you as parents >see your children having difficult with feeding skills with spoon and fork. >Zeb is three and I know his fine motor skills are behind but everything >else seems to be progressing with his hands except feeding, any comments >and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We have shown him techniques >to compensate for his vision deficit it is more a hand and dexterity problem. >Thanks Alisha-Zeb's mom
