He was a child born with Down's Syndrome but was a wonderful kid who seemed to have an aura around him. It was wonderful and I think you would find it very interesting. My son is 3 years old and completely nonverbal with one approximation--for yes. I can't help much but would definitely say never to listen to anyone saying your son will not speak after 7. Keep up to good work. We are in private therapy OT and ST--ST is $100 hr and OT is $160 hr. We have found it to be invaluable. I thought of something that might help. had trouble with vowels too and our therapist gave us a sheet to work on for mouth movement to help. IF you think it might help email me at scmartin@... and I will scan it and send it too you via email as an attachment, then you can print it. Glad to hear the job is going well. Your story about had me laughing because he so much like . just turned 6 on April 21st. Coincidence ???? I am not sure. If is spiritual then nurture that I think its wonderful.
