Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I have a two and a half year old with apraxia. He says 2 word approximations and 3 consonant sounds. For those of you who have kids who aren't talking at all yet, I was just wondering if your SLP's work on isolated letter sounds or if they work on syllables. Any advice would greatly be appreaciated!! Also, I have an 8 month old who already babbles more than my son talks. Any suggestions for praising her when she talks without causing my son's self esteem to plummet? Thanks, Marissa
Guest guest
When was your explant? The purpose of this and other forums for BI women is to support each other in this journey. > > Hello my actual name is ,I read the mission statement and wanted to respond but too ask some questions. The symptoms listed are nearly 100% what has crept in to my body & everyday life for the past 5 yrs. Although, there are some I would like to mention that I am inquiring if anyone may also suffer with as well.List:Auto Immune Disorder (NOT to be confused w/AIDS)Fibromyalg1aChronic FatigueMigrainesLoss or interrupted sleepMemory loss/ Confusion> >I have seen a plethora of Dr.'s w/conclusive tests that the above mentioned began with a slow onset to having the Implants. I have been placed on Perm Disability and have both Private as well as Medicare Ins which both paid for the removal of the implants due to the conclusive finding that these symptoms were brought on as the result of the Saline w/Silicone En-Capsule (shell) Implants.> >As I am sure most here have done, my research has been extensive with the intent to both inquire but also inform other women. Initially I was told I was of the infamous 1% who suffered with these ailments post surgery. What I have found in the " black hole " of " intentional " withheld and hidden medical information and the untold amount of woman who have made their stories available… deserves collective action in a multitude of ways!I have been in the trenches of both holistic and western remedies along with availing myself to ALL things relative to keep myself informed, pro-active and moving towards or should I say back… to a functional life. I worry so because I am thus far strong Willed enough to uncover discover and remain trudging through the daily abyss of overcoming some or all of these symptoms ~daily. What gravely concerns me is that there is a " running thread " with the vast majority of us that lends itself to surrendering to a No return…Hopelessness. Too, the common physical and mental mantra of " isolation " , especially where it concerns our outward appearance & the blanket of those who have " sworn " to do No Harm " and their availing themselves to us with Direction but also a Solution. I am a Wife and Mommy with ALL the trimmings of my place in many peoples life. I have and remain with the ferociousness to be of Service, make a Difference w/some added bonus of an Italian bust a move~ WOMAN~. Admittedly I am most days worn down to only my Will with knee burns from prayer that I can endure the day with a wink to the Heavens for a Miracle. My question to you the reader is: Collectively could we exchange information, give US a place on the Map and remain dedicated to help ourselves Iin turn HELP those thus far are blessed to have this arena but reach further to the masses who so far remain in ignorant silence?Thank you for your time, your fight and for your Bravery! With deep gratitude, >
Guest guest
, Welcome back! I'm glad to hear you've made it through you explant. Hopefully some of your symptoms are starting to recede! As to getting the word out about breast implants, all I can say is that we've been trying! . . . The proimplant people appear to have unlimited funds to proclaim the glories of breast implants, while those of us who have been injured often can barely scrape by. Quite a few women who've participated on this group have appeared in the media, TV, radio, newspaper, etc. Some have been out there speaking to whomever will listen. What is so strange is that, if the media can, it distorts the message! Strange? Yes, if you still believe the world is fair. Understandable when you find out that the media lives off advertising dollars, and these people don't want the truth out. To compound that, the FDA continues to study whether or not to approve a " new " generation of silicone gel implants. .. . Regardless of a lack of long term studies, obvious red flags, and the protests of those who have been injured. Graft in the government? . . . Who knows. Obviously that wouldn't be new! In addition, saline implants stay on the market with the FDA's approval - in spite of thousands of injury report. The part that infuriates me so much is what breast implants are doing to the unborn and nursing children born to women with implants! I started a group for the parents of children injured by silcone " SiliconeKids " . . . What I'm learning privately is that the problems are much more serious than parents will discuss on line, and that mothers are very reluctant to go public with their childrens very serious health problems. As far as I'm concerned, this entire situtation is beyond criminal. Since there appears to be no justice on this earth, we can only pray the God has his own very special plans for those who blatently injure and kill so many. If you have any questions about accessing the archives, let us know. Please share your knowledge of alternative health measures with us. Most of us have found more relief through alternative means than we have through conventional medicine. Most conventional doctors either won't, or can't, help us. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
