Guest guest
For all those worried about vaccinations prior to entering kindergarten check out what your MD wants to give your kids and what the State really requires. In NJ Chapter 14 of the NJ State Sanitary Code Immunization of Pupils in Schools 8:57-4.12 states that two doses of measles vaccine must be given before entering Kindergarten. It does not say that they must have the MMR twice. Most offices don't stock just the measles vaccine but they can get it if you insist. Why give multiple vaccines when it's not required? I called before my sons visit and made my Pediatrician get the measles vaccine, they were not happy but they did get it.
