Mother's Day Festival (great family day!)

I'll be offline a few days going to Atlantic City and hope to see

some of you at the Kaufman meeting -or the advocacy track on

Saturday at the NJSHA Conference (info at http://www.apraxia.cc under

upcoming events) Please check them out -you will be happy you did -

and opportunities like this only happen once every one hundred years.

Some fun news to check off on the calendar for those who can attend.

It's party time at the vineyards again - I just got my reminder

schedule from http://www.albavineyard.com/calendar.html (hey -why is

she posting about a vineyard on a children's communication support

list?)

Some of you wonder how we can get the kids together. I know not

everyone can attend something in NJ near Bucks County PA (Hey Mauri -

how about having your family picnic group meeting here?!) -however

this is an awesome fun family place for those of you that can -so a

great place for many of us to meet up!

If you can go to any of the upcoming events at this one vineyard -

Alba Vineyard -sign up for their mailing list while you are there.

Once you check out how they throw an event, trust me you won't want

to miss the next one they have!

Mom's and Dad's -our days are coming up. So bring a blanket, a

Frisbee, the kids and a camera and plan to have a great day!!!

3RD ANNUAL " MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATION "

A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC, ART AND WINE

Sunday, May 12

Noon - 5 p.m.

Alba Vineyard hosts the second annual " Momstock 2002 " produced by

Blues Lady Productions. This Mothers Day, the whole family can enjoy

an afternoon filled with great music, fine wine, food, decadent

desserts, and activities for children. While Mom kicks up her heels,

children can take a pony ride, make a craft, have their face painted

and enjoy the works of Marcel Franquelin and his students while you

take a free tour of the winery. Dance to the music of the

Steckel Band, The VooDudes and BC and the Blues Crew.

Admission ~ 15.00 - Children under 12 Free - Free Parking

Admission includes a complementary wine glass. By law, only Alba

Vineyard's wines can be consumed on the property. NO Pets Allowed.

2ND ANNUAL " FATHER'S DAY EVENT "

Dance Troupes, Jester & Jugglers, Culinary treats, and Merchants

Admission: With Costume ~ Adults (14 & up) $6 ~ Children (6-13) $3

Without Costume ~ Adults $8 and Children $4 ~ Children under 6 are

free

VOLUNTEER GRAPE HARVEST

Saturday, September 28

9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Volunteers needed to help harvest grapes. Must sign-up to participate

(I know it seems a bit early to post about the Grape Harvest -trust

me you don't want to miss it and the kids love it!!)
