Guest guest
In a message dated 8/12/00 4:47:50 AM Eastern Daylight Time, egroups writes: << , >>Only suggestion I have for you if you do not have ins. is find out if you are a candidate for methotrexate. If so you can give yourself injections weekly. A 3or 4 month supply only cost about 30.$ ,needles are about10.$. I have been on it for 4 years, some people tolarate it well, I never liked it.it made me nauses. Pill form is expensive. You can not get pregnent on the med. I just started Enbrel,4 weeks now and no side effects, Man I feel better than ever. But you have to address the situation before you get too much joint damage. the metho. worked good for me too. pednisone is very cheap also to use with metho in moderation when inflamation is bad. But you should try an antinflamatory i use naprelen. good luck lolli 213 @aol.com

Guest guest
For info on ABA contact _Saffran@... A web-site to check out: http://members.tripod.com/~RSaffran/aba.html He has a several links to check out, resources, books, etc. I'm so sorry that I pulled this information off the web in 1999, and didn't do ANYTHING about it until now. It may not be for everyone, but I can't go to my grave knowing there was a chance out there to help him and I turned my nose up at it. I HAVE to try it. I've tried just about everything else! Good luck.
Guest guest
: Tell us how you went about finding an ABA coordinator. This is my biggest problem. When I first learned Andy had autism and was looking into different things, the ABA folks out here were either from a disreputable group (aversive based--used electric cattle prods not all that long ago!) or the people I talked with cringed b/c Andy was 9 or because he has ds. So here I am with a 12 year old, wanting help with structuring my home. I'd like to have folks doing most of the day during the summer, with me taking on morning and evening along with say one hour during each day. that way I can work, too. Most of the stories I read about ABA programs don't leave any time for laundry, shuttling kids, or work! How do you balance this, ? Lori Ann? I'm very open. Something has to happen this summer. j
Guest guest
that's true Guy ... but the problem for some of us is the 'state' of health we are in... i for one cannot do only fruit - even the naturally occurring sugar affects me adversely... I do much better with vegies... wendy Digest Number 670 SOLUTION: Get rid of the diverticula and the fecal matter impacted on the walls of the large intestine, OUTSIDE your body. Destroy the Candida breeding grounds and candidiasis will disappear with it. Its that simple. *** This is why I had so much success with an all fruit diet. Fruit is an extremely powerful cleanser, and can clean out the impacted diverticula. Guy Send blank message to candidiasis-unsubscribeonelist if you want to UNSUBSCRIBE ! Up until now he refused to have his temp. taken due to sensory issues, but the SI has decreased and boy what an example of the oral motor part of dyspraxia. Can't get his brain to lift his tongue, position the therm. and close his mouth. He can physically do it, but the wiring is off. Who can teach him this?OT or SLP?
