Guest guest
Dear , There is suspicion that Bell's Palsy is caused by herpes. It often radiates along the nerves from near the ear forward (like fingers on the hand, with the palm covering the ear). My wife came down with Bell's Palsy this spring, following a long ride in the car with the window open, on a cool and rainy day. She overcame it in record time (7 weeks) by a combination of ozone ear insufflation, chiropractic, and acupuncture. Now she is good as new, with no hint of the palsy. Best of Health! Does anyone have any recommendations for treating the facial paralysis that occurs from Bells Palsy? My brother has had it for many years, and would LOVE to find a way to help alleviate it (crocodile tears too). TIA for any ideas/suggestions... _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

Guest guest
Good morning, , More than you want from Lepore's book, The Ultimate Healing System...pg 71-72, 78-79 exerpts " When a stroke affects the right side, it is usually due to blood clotting related to a lack of potassium. Bell's Palsy on the right side is usually a Potassium deficiency affecting the muscles of the face and body on the right side (left side of the body is influenced by the Sodium level)..... " " Lack of Potassium can also cause Sciatica on the right side. Note: Diuretics, Prednisone, ACTH, and Digitalis will deplete Potassium levels. Also, sweating in a hot climate will cause a loss of Potassium, three times the amount of Sodium lost. The loss of these two electrolytes can cause instantaneous allergies to most " non-green vegetables " which would cause diarrhea and nausea (Montezuma's revenge). It should also be noted that in his book " The new Handbook of Prescription Drug. " published by Ballantine books.... Brack,... describes the potential negative effects of Potassium Chloride USP on page 284: " We feel that this pharmaceutical type of mineral pill should never be used. " " In our research we utilize Bee Pollen and Alfalfa concentrate capsules as a source of natural Potassium.....totally absorbable without any side effects!' " A low Sodium diet is often erroneously advised for the treatment of edema. the thing to do is to elevate the Potassium level which would not diminish the amount of Sodium, but reduce Sodium's potent hold on the he fluid. ..... a low sodium diet can lead to a stroke or Bell's Palsy on the he left side of the body. " " Sodium is necessary to hold the body's Calcium and Magnesium in solution, while also preventing over-coagulation of the blood, thus protecting... " " ...organic sodium that exists in vegetables such as celery, okra and spinach as compared to the insoluble, inorganic commercially produced table salt. " " ...If table salt is to be used, we suggest the use of powdered rock salt, kosher salt, or sea salt which have been found to be completely soluble in water and compatible for human absorption. " " It should be noted that Sodium retards aging by neutralizing waste products and filtering poisonous substances out of the blood stream through the Lymphatic system. Sodium also aids in the elimination of Carbonic Acid and halts fermentation. " and stimulates production HCl in the stomach. Guest guest
Ozone would probably work with bells palsy but I think HBOT would probably be the treatment I would chose on this one.
