Guest guest
i enjoyed reading your post and malasia sounds like a beautiful country. it is also sad that many times when young people come over they may get with the wrong crowd which can effect their lives negatively. i wonder if the Malaysians who have never heard from their children if they could contact the ambasador and try to have some research done to try to find them? ----- Original Message ----- From: Abdul Hamid Roslida Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Sunday, December 21, 2003 10:38 AM Subject: Re: to granny lee well granny lee.. glad that u can be my new granny.... yippeee.. and now i m yr new grand daughter, u can start sending a xmas gift to me.. tho i dun celebrate the festive.. * wide grin* anyway.. who is Ybara?. well... i forgot i was in the RA mail list... he is a nice young man with a young family, over on another mail list , who , from too much medications a few years back , may have to have a liver transplant. we are all concerned for him and praying for him and trying to support him during this crisis. he should get results of tests tomorrow and we are all trying to send our strength to him and his family and pray for the best. well.. i go now... love.. granny lee yes, I am from malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur now to be exact.. tho my hometown is actually 300 km away from this capital of Msia. perhaps u can visit me in here granny... the weather here is very good for RAs like us.. thats why i always hesitate to be outta my country. i wont last long when i m surrounded with winters and cold weather. once i was in seoul for 3 mths, thank God it was almost summer at that time.. tho i did go thru its late fall season when i first arrived and i was with worst cold at that time. luckily my joints hadnt once flared up when i was there.. i ve found out that its summer was not as humid as we have in msia and i was like,, " oh ok.. i can live here forever during the summer season, as i love its kimchi so much.. i dun think i hv the food prob while i m in ere.. ginseng tea is terrific too:)" its ok granny, i respect other ppl's beliefs too.. i hv no prob with them..i still correspond with a canadian guy that i met on internet in 1996. Both my grandparents from both sides have passed away long time ago. I wasnt in a good term with my late granny from my father's side. Long story actually.. will tell u again some other time there r lotsa malaysian scattered all over US actually... even the govt still sends the students over there. some of them came back after graduating.. while some never came back:). they wud rather live in other people's countries rather than theirown...i dun no.. perhaps they live a better life over there.. i have a few friends who nvr came back... even reported missing by the MSD ( msian student dept). A frieend of my father lost his two sons. after they went there to further their studies,, nvr came back,,, nvr got any news from them and itsbeen more than 10 yrs already... on 2nd tot... i think u r too young to be my granny.. my dad's 66 and my mom 61..*wink* i m perfectly well now that i ve continued taking my mtx again.. i dun hv any more pain at my hip joint..so now i know that mtx does work on my RA.. i was wondering b4 whether is it necesssary for me to continue mtx as i nvr notice its effect b4. well when my rfheumy asked me whether i shud continue my mtx or not.. ( i ve been complaining to him dat i dun see why shud i continue mtx if i m not sure it has worked on me). he did say that it might take months before it really works on my RA. and btw granny, u may look on my grammatical errors too.. i know i made lotsa them.. and granny.. if u happened to have a nice and cute grandson who is still available.. i m willing to run to yr every beck n calls for him.. LOL.. just kidding.. i m signing off granny...take care.. i ll pray for our healths P.S cud u pls give me yr website add too:) loves Ida..
