Guest guest
Has anyone else heard of a product called 'Total EFA Junior'? And does anyone have any experience using it with your child? It is from a company called " Health from the Sun " , www.healthfromthesun.com. Thanks, Snaith Long Island, NY (Mom to Dylan 6.3, Apraxia; 3.8, non-stop talker)
Guest guest
It seems like his choice was primrose oil? Does that have EFAs? Can't remember, but if that has efa's, then that's it. Vague enough? --- Timary <timaryp@...> wrote: > I wonder if Dr. G would be more agreeable to getting > Omega-3 EFAs > from flaxseed oil? (You can get Omega-6's from olive > oil...) Guest guest
Thank you for the information Caroline. Argie Re: EFAs Argie, Right now we're just all on the diet at our house but my husband and I are also taking the fish oil. I can't really tell much of a difference with me but I keep forgetting to take it! It didn't fit in our big daily pill box so it's in the cabinet and I can't seem to remember it consistently enough to get a " feel " for the effects. My husband thinks he is benefiting (but it may be the placebo effect!). You can probably get a " Zone " diet book at your public library. My husband got the audiobook (on CD) from the library and listened in the car. If your library does not have them, you may be able to get them through inter-library loan (where your library gets it for you from another library... usually at no cost to you). Best of luck. Guest guest
Yes! Evening primrose oil has omega-3 fatty acids! I just " assumed " that he wouldn't want us to use EPO. Just goes to show. Do you remember a particular brand by any chance? thanks! timary --- In , <thecolemans4@y...> wrote: > It seems like his choice was primrose oil? Does that > have EFAs? Guest guest
He never specified. He just said that he usually waits about a year down the road before considering such a thing, and probably only if the parents are pushing. And never at the general recommended doses either. --- Timary <timaryp@...> wrote: > Yes! Evening primrose oil has omega-3 fatty acids! > I just " assumed " > that he wouldn't want us to use EPO.
