Guest guest
Dear Sandy, Swimming is really a good exercise for people with arthritis. A physical therapist gave me a routine of exercises to do in the pool. It takes me about 45 minutes to go through them. I love that time in the pool and the exercises have been most helpful I just joined the list this week. My name is . I was diagnosed with RA three and a half years ago. I was on plaquenal for a long time. In January I started Enbrel. My hand, which had been so swollen, literally was its' normal size the next day. It has given me my life back. I am very thankful. I still experience flair ups but have more good days than bad. I'm a busy mom of three, two of which I homeschool. I've learned so much since I''ve had RA. I'm so much more aware of people when I'm out and more eager to help those who may need help. HAve a wonderful week-end, Wife to - 18 years in August! Mom to - 15, Bethany - 12, and -
Guest guest
Thanks so much Gretchen... How long have you been doing this? You are such a great resource for us all? Were you diagnosed as a child? Thanks again. Elaine
Guest guest
Gretchen, Reading your email to Elaine...Gosh, do you know that I could never do biking? Power walking...you must be joking. I could never do that either. Sports never been my cup of tea.hahaha!!!! Never done much exercises before, always being so lazy for that. I wonder if it is because of lack of balance or pure fear of fall and break my head. I would love to learn it..really. It would change my life! I really hope you will achieve your goals..I am sure you will! Good Luck!!!!! Joana
