My son just had his yearly IEP

My son just had his yearly IEP on Tuesday and all went well.All the goals

that they wanted to meet have either been met or met at a higher level.If he

needed to meet a goal of 75% accuracy he is at 85% or higher. I also received

the best Mother's Day present early.He has improved SOOOOOOOOOOO much that he

is going from 5 times a week Speech to three times a week and from two times

a week to one time a week OT. Yes,I agree and didn't have any problems with

this.This is such a little thing but as you all know a MAJOR

accomplishment. HE tells everyone he has graduated!! They are going to work on

his constant talking out and monopolizing conversation in the classroom.SInce

he will be in 2nd grade they get strickter about things like that.So for all

of you out there who are just starting on your endeavor with apraxia and SI

there is hope and a light at the end of the tunnel.Heck it's been 5 years!!!!!
