Guest guest
Hey Amber! If you go to http://www.apraxia.cc there is a link to order it from. It was $22 and included shipping. It came to us in Hawaii in 2 days! It is a bottle of 90 (1 a day). Nordic Naturals is the company. I would not order any other brand. Sorry about the doctor - you just have to keep calling and bugging. The squeaky wheel gets the oil! Traci > I am so frustrated that I have not heard from her Ped Neurologist's > nurse yet. Guest guest
If you call the toll free number, there is a formula especially for kids. It is called " Ultimate Omega; Children's DHA formula " The capsules are very small and are strawberry flavored. My son thinks they are candy. There is no magic cure but the EFA's certainly help. Our SLP is so excited about my son's progress (he went from no sounds at all to full sentences with correct grammar, syntax, verb tense, in two months) that I am not sure if I will tell her or not. I know that many professionals feel that using supplements is a big hoax. Even if your child doesn't make progress developmentally with EFAs, it is a great nutritional supplement. Tricia I am so frustrated that I have not heard from her Ped Neurologist's nurse yet. I just want to get the okay on this so I can order it. Guest guest
I saw these tablets and wondered if i could use those instead of the oil capsules. I did see that the formula was not the same (less DHA). How old is your son Tricia? Do you only give him one/day? Does anyone have any thoughts on which one to use? Thanks, Traci mom to Kennedy
Guest guest
Tricia I would tell her. Think of all the other children who would benefit if she became a 'fan'. Don't forget to compliment her on her effective therapy though! I ordered two bottles of Nordic Naturals. That was before I got the post about the Strawberry pills. No turning back now. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it!
