Guest guest
Not sure if anyone was aware of this. I just checked my email this am and saw this email from my local Autim group president. " W. I have something important to share with you. The Vaccine Court (also known as the US Court of Federal Claims), the one where citizens sue the government when they have been harmed by government policies chapter 12 in our /Cases: Introducing Communication Disorders Across the Life Span/), has decided the first of 4,900+ cases that were pending last spring in the Autism Omnibus Suit... in favor of the parents. The government will have to compensate and, no matter how the US Department of Public Health Services, the CDC, FDA, etc. spin it, the result is huge... Vaccines and thimerosal, not to mention dental amalgam and other toxic medicinal practices and medications, are factors in the epidemic of neurological injuries and diseases and the tide is turning in favor of those who have been harmed by them. See http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-kirby/government-concedes- vacci_b_88323.html Government Concedes Vaccine-Autism Case in Federal Court - Now What? Posted February 25, 2008 | 12:42 PM (EST). (Thanks to Oller, SLP-CCC, in Corpus Christi for locating the linked article by Kirby who was our kick-off speaker at Autism07 last spring at the Cajundome Convention Center.) Quoting the decision (all of which is linked at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-kirby/the-vaccineautism-court- _b_88558.html): In sum, DVIC [the US Court of Federal Claims, or Vaccine Injury Court, or more particularly its Division of Vaccine Injury Compensation] has concluded that the facts of this case meet the statutory criteria for demonstrating that the vaccinations CHILD received on July 19, 2000, significantly aggravated an underlying mitochondrial disorder, which predisposed her to deficits in cellular energy metabolism, and manifested as a regressive encephalopathy with features of autism spectrum disorder._ Therefore, respondent recommends that compensation be awarded to petitioners in accordance with 42 U.S.C. § 300aa-11©(1)©(ii). Isn't this pretty much what all of the researchers in the know have been saying? The toxins, especially, the neurotoxin mercury, can push the individual past the limit, what Dr. Jepson calls the " tipping point " . We were correct in the Autism07 emphasis. Autism and a lot of related problems are caused mainly by environmental factors, especially the neurotoxin mercury, and other factors with which it interacts. The good news is that the resulting conditions are treatable. They may be reversible in as many as 70 to 80 per cent of the existing cases (that's the estimated percentage of individuals with the diagnosis of autism who are affected by oxidative stress chiefly from toxicity). Children have the advantage in benefiting from treatment but even adults have been greatly helped... Understanding causation is the key. Treat that and you can beat the disease. The crucial thing is to find the disease producing factors. Autism is NOT STRICTLY GENETIC AND IT IS NOT A MIRAGE CREATED BY PUBLIC AWARENESS AND HYPE. With our ASAC parents, also with Sertomans, we need to review the video from Stan Kurtz that is included in our forthcoming books... and to update some of the medical advances made within the last several years and months that have only recently been published... There is still a long way to go, but the mystery is unraveling and the good guys are making progress on all fronts.
