The Chase Academy, Inc. is a private nonprofit corporation located

in Volusia County that was established in 2006 to provide

educational services specifically tailored to meet the

individualized needs of students with High-functioning Autism or any

of the related Autism Spectrum Disorders. Their goal is to focus

these services on maximizing the students' potential for inclusion

into mainstream society.

In order to raise funds to provide a productive

environment for the students, Stetson University will be hosting a

Children's Expo in the Rinker Field House on Saturday, April 19,

2008. The main expo will be inside the Rinker Field House and will

consist of informational tables provided by local vendors in the

Deland community. Outside, in the Rinker Field, there will be

a " Kidz Karnival " which will consist of traditional carnival games,

a bounce house, food, and live entertainment. The expo will run from

8am – 4pm and the carnival will run from 11am – 4pm.
