Maddie broke out in shingles-AGAIN-this week. Someone on her bus had chicken

pox-and this is what always happens when she is exposed. Then Friday night, she

actually started running a fever-it went as high as 103.7-so off to the er. She

also has pneumonia. They hope it is a complication of the shingles, but

whooping cough is going around the county just west of us-and the doctors

wonder....We went ahead and started an antibiotic and they sent us home. She

slept in the recliner last night, but is still running a low grade fever and if

she moves around at all starts coughing like a mad person. She just clutches

her chest when she coughs-We have increased all of the breathing treatments and

she is not even arguing about it-so I know she feels terrible.

Becky in IN-mom to Maddie, age 10, IgA def, low IgG, asthma, gerd, chronic

constipation....
