Guest guest
My family lives in Ballwin, Missouri and goes to Rockwood School District. My son went to school in the morning, and when I picked him up from daycare, I thought he had marker or something all over his face. When I got him home, I found out it was bruises that covered about half of his face. The bruising was so extensive that it took two weeks to resolve. My son said that he was hurt at elementary school that day by another kid, and his twin brother reiterated the story. The assistant principle said she didn't know anything about it, and I had to ask the teacher or someone in the classroom. The aide didn't have time to talk to me about it, and the nurse told me that he deserved it for not playing nicely with the other kids. To my knowledge, my son has never hit another kid at elementary school. At his IEP meeting, I've been told that he doesn't interact with the other children. So, if he has never interacted with them, I don't see how he " deserves " to be beat up. > > It is very troubling to receive the amount of email I have lately > regarding the Illegal use of restraint, abuse, Time Out Rooms, and even > worse in the investigation into the ISD's in TX.
