Guest guest
This doesn't come with any official medical inforamtion, but personally I can tell you that I haven't experienced any issues with mixing marijuana and methotrexate. I haven't done it with my docs knowledge (I haven't gotten the nerve to ask him to approve a medical marijuana card, although it would be legal), and certainly pot has it's own health issues. However, what little research has been done has shown that pot does reduce inflammation and pain. I end up taking either Tylenol, Ultram or Vicodin for the pain most of the time (since marijuana isn't easy to come by). I can't help you with baking though - I've only smoked it. > Hi all, This may well be an inappropriate question for this list and please > tell me if it is. > My Doctor has recently suggested That I may want to start looking at > Morphine for pain relief.I am not ready for that yet but was wondering if > any one knew if it was safe to try Marijuana while taking 22.5 mgs > methatrexate pre week with 1600 mgs of Brufen Retard per day. > I would like to be able to sleep a few hours at night and was thinking that > a puff or two at night of Marijuana may help me in that direction or maybe > I could bake it in a cookie if I knew how. > Hoping someone can help. > > Cheers, > ette > > >If you can tolerate the pain and still function reasonably well, you made > >the right decision. Guest guest
Hi Thanks for that info. I have told my doctor that I am going to try it, not that it makes it legal here but I believe it is worth the risk. I am going to look into the cooking of it as I believe it works better on the body than smoking it which works more on the head. But being a novice to these things I need to do a bit more research. At least it is easy to come by here.
