Guest guest
A week or so ago, someone posted that their child broke out in tiny bumps after applying the new cream from Kirkman's. Just wanted you to know that we had the same problem. Tiny little bumps although he says they don't hurt or itch. I emailed Kirkman's because we've never had a reaction from the epsom salt baths. They said he must be reacting to one of the other ingredients in the cream and recommended that we discontinue using it. (Not what I wanted to hear!) I'm curious to hear if anyone else has encountered this problem. Maybe there's a single ingredient which people are having problems with and Kirkman's could find a way of deleting it for future batches. Guest guest
Joan, We've had no reactions (using for two weeks now) but weren't too crazy about the additives when we received it. We may try making our own. Someone posted directions on how to do that on one of these sites that I copied but can't remember which one. Guest guest
We were the ones that had that problem. Only my son did say his bumps itched (though not badly). It has been 7 days since we stopped using the cream (only used it for 3 days) and the bumps are still there. I would have thought they would have subsided by now. The names of the ingredients are such a mystery to me, I can't begin to figure out which one might be the culprit. My son doesn't react to much (he gets hives from peanuts) so this surprised me. I'm sure Kirkman's is a good company, but the two products we've tried from them (the cream and Pro-Bio Gold) were disasters for us. With Pro-Bio Gold my son started wetting the bed every night. He hadn't done that for years. - - reaction to magnesium sulfate cream A week or so ago, someone posted that their child broke out in tiny bumps after applying the new cream from Kirkman's. Guest guest
I was wondering if these bumps could be from the body detoxing? Betty
Guest guest
Betty has a great point... gradually build up on the sulfur, the bumps should pass. Janet M.
