I was on Enbrel for about 3 months before that without really great results. My switch to Humira seemed to be working better, but now I feel as though I'm backsliding again. My doc is increasing my methotrexate from 3 to 5 a week (pills, that is) and may go as high as 6/week. I've been holding steady at 2 mg of prednisone, but things could be better. I haven't noticed any side effects from the Humira. Sometimes I feel as though I get worse just as I'm ready to take a shot again, but I think that's pretty common with all drugs. gloria Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I see a rheumy for the first time the 27th and was hoping to get off the Prednisone, Plaquinil and Methotrexate by getting a prescription for one of the new Bio-DMARDS. I know that I'd prefer to be off everything that I can.
