The 5.8 percent increase is the largest since 1982. The Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2009 is based on the increase in the Consumer Price Index from the third quarter of 2007 through the third quarter of 2008. The attached press release outlines some other important changes that are affected by the COLA. We ask that you share this information with those parties who would find it of interest. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this important change.
