Guest guest
Thanks for your well wishes, I appreciate them. My Mom had a partial masectomy and we are still waiting on the pathology report. The hospital she was in was run so crappy and the halls made me feel like I was a rat in a maze. The nurses never had any answers to my questions, the surgeon never came to talk to us before she was discharged and the noise from the people on vents sounded like an off key orchestra. It nearly drove me NUTS! On a good note, my hubby does not need surgery on his shoulder and we did not go through with the refinancing to fix the roof. I'm glad I worked out the numbers, intrest etc.. before we closed, saved us a ton of dough. My Uncle is still doing poorly and news is sparse. I never know when or if I should call even though I went through the same situation with my Dad. I'll be taking my youngest for his cognitive function testing at the UIC to learn more about if he is in the autistic spectrum. I'm very curious to see how that goes and what can be gained from this testing. From what I read, the Pediatric Neuropsychologist is very qualified and the department she runs is trying to pinpoint the differences in memory retention. I would love to see the MRI or PET when it's done. If anyone has input about the testing or questions I should ask, let me know ok?
