split audio proportional audio feedback designs to offer for free

hello group,

i want to offer some designs that i developed. they are proportional audio

feedback, but the difference is that you hear one song and this song is split in

different audio tracks, like one for the melody, one for the accompaniment or

second voice. the amplitudes of the trained frequencies control the volume of

the tracks. for example, if you do one reward and one inhibit, the reward

controls the volume of the melody line and the inhib the volume of the rhythm

group. if the inhibited frequenciy goes up, the volume of the accompaniment goes

down and when the amplitude in the reward band goes up, the melody goes louder.

in training you just try to listen to the music and make all tracks same volume.

there are also two designs to train coherence up or down.

the trainer can easily adjust the volumes on the fly with the threshold sliders.

as the clients gets better in one frequency you can adjust the difficulty.

the tracks you get from free downloadable midi songs. you choose your favourite

songs and split them into 2 or 3 tracks. each track gets then converted from a

midi file into an mp3 file. these you play with bioexplorer. the software to

convert these files is all freeware.

george martin was kind enough to help me with some points in the design. he also

likes doing this split audio training.

i offer these designs to try to pay back a little to all the people from the

list, many who are very generous in sharing their knowledge and time. without

these lists it would be much harder to get started and learn more about

neurofeedback.
