Guest guest
A positive rheumatoid factor does not mean a person has RA. People with other connective tissue diseases, infections, etc. can have a positive RA. Sierra > well correct me if i m wrong but i think the specific test to confirm whether u r a RA or not ( i m not sure whether tis includes other autoimmune disease eg SLE etc) is a rheumatoid factor test. besides all those normal signs that confirmed u r an RA. perhaps ESR test will give u some view abt dat too. Guest guest
Hi : My RA has not affected my hands in that it has caused any noticeable joint distortion, but it sure does cause a lot of pain, stiffness, and swelling. Also, crossing my fingers is definately hard to do, but I can interlock them - don't know what exactly that would tell about whether or not I have RA lol.
