Guest guest
from a back-channel email I thought might be helpful to others: I am having a few problems with some of the designs and was hoping you could help me. I wasn’t sure who to contact, so if you are not the right person, please let me know and forward this to the right person. J 1) In Sum Difference DVD my DVD screen is really tiny and tucked up in the top left corner of the screen. I have no idea how to make it bigger so it is actually useful to me. I have tried several things, but nothing works. I'm attaching a " fixed " version. To change things on the BE screen, go to Instruments and choose Edit Layout. Then you can move a window and resize it as usual in Windows. Then uncheck Edit Layout and choose Save in the Design menu. 2) In Sum Difference Music/Video the instructions say there is a music box chime sound when overall amplitude is in its lowest ranges. I think Pete says this is an error in the instructions. Could you please confirm if there is or is not a chime that plays for this design? Yes, it's still an error as I wrote before. I've attached the updated Design Manual. 3) In 2C Music/Video there is supposed to be a Chime that plays. There is no chime when I use this program. I noticed there is an Auto Chime and a Manual Chime. First, which do I use. Second, it is superimposed over the score...where is the chime box supposed to be. Third how do I make the chime play? I assume you are talking about the Options design. I've attached mine which plays two different sounds--one a music box chime. If you don't hear it, something's wrong with your MIDI sound setup (though that shouldn't be the case if you are hearing the other music. BTW, if you click on the Objects menu and scroll down to MIDI1, that will open its Properties box. There you can try different instruments while listening to Playback of a recorded session. I really like Electric Piano1 for that voice, and I have changed MIDI2 from Music Box to Vibraphone. Try things while you are listening with headphones. 4) I have no ‘click’ sound when the client scores in any of my designs. I have the ‘click’ sound in my media folder and it appears to be linked to the score of each design. I have even tried increasing the volume and I have never heard a click sound when client scores. How can I make this play? If it's in the media folder, and when you look at Properties in Score you see that Enable is checked in Score Sound, try connecting to some other sound (Ding). Again, you can do this with a recorded session playing back in the Design you are testing. Click OK or apply, and see if you get dings. If you do, try going back to click and see if they work. If not, try downloading the file from LearningCurveDesigns again and replacing the existing one. 5) I purchased the 5 pack BioPlay designs a number of months ago but have not used them with the designs because the instructions that came with the BioPlay looked very complicated in terms of setting inputs and thresholds etc etc. I do not know what to do with my BioPlay games. Is it not just automatic, once I have them downloaded that they will work with the design. Would appreciate any help you could provide to make these work. Open any TLC Design that says BioPlay, and use your games. Just choose the game.you want, and verify that you are using BioExplorer. Don't worry about thresholds.Pete -- Van Deusenpvdtlc@...http://www.brain-trainer.comUSA 678 224 5895 BR 47 3346 6235The Learning Curve, Inc. 3 of 3 File(s) Clickable List TLC Designs.pdf Options--2C Sum Diff DVD.bxd Options--1C Music Video.bxd
Guest guest
Hi Pete, Do the MIDI Sounds work in Windows 7. As Iunderstand it MIDI is not supported in Win 7. If this is true is there a workaround? Thanks, Mike > > from a back-channel email I thought might be helpful to others: > > I am having a few problems with some of the designs and was hoping you > > could help me. Guest guest
I switched instruments and verified it does play in Bioexplorer Thanks for the feedback. It doesn't seem to in my brainmaster software but I may have to dig out my XP computer to verify. > > > > > > > > > > from a back-channel email I thought might be helpful to others: > > > > > > > > > > I am having a few problems with some of the designs and was hoping > you > > > > > > could help me.
